What Is Jenny365?

Jenny365 is a simple project of mine that I started on the 7th of April, 2008. Basically, I will be creating a cwalk or dance video dedicated to Jenny every day for 365 days (1 year). There are a few similar projects you’ll see on YouTube, but Jenny365 is the original 365 day dance video dedication project. All Jenny365 videos will either be uploaded to DailyMotion or YouTube.

You will notice that there are only a few videos there right now. That’s because YouTube deleted my Jenny365 account (184 videos) for copyright infringement (music), so I basically picked up where I left off and just started uploading my videos to DailyMotion instead. When I find time, I will re-upload all 184 videos onto DailyMotion.

Purpose of Jenny365:

There are many reasons as to why I’m doing this project. I’m doing this, not only for Jenny, but also for myself; to help motivate me to cwalk and dance, and just to have fun every day. It will also help me improve on my cwalk and dancing, as well as help keep me fit. Another reason I’m doing this is because of my love for dance and music.

I want to prove to myself that I CAN stay dedicated to something for that long, if I just put my mind to it. What makes this project more meaningful is the fact that I’ll have to stay dedicated regardless of whatever comes my way, whether it be personal problems, relationship problems, sickness or injury, bad weather, no internet, no camera, no computer, no clothes LOL - every day I will find a way to stay dedicated to this project! Heh, YouTube deleted my account and all 184 videos I uploaded, but I’m still here!

Last of all, the purpose of this project is to just let Jenny know every day that I love her - all the videos I make are dedicated to her. ^_^

Goals for Jenny365:

My goals for Jenny365 are simple. By day 365, I hope to become a better dancer. With this project, I also hope to inspire others to dance, and just show people what dedication can do for you. With dedication, you can do and be anything. <3

In the end, I also hope to become a better person in general, with a new outlook on myself and life. I’m always doubting myself, especially when it comes to dancing. I believe finishing this project will help me realize that I can do anything if I really wanted to and if I just believed in myself. I hope to be more confident about myself and my ability. <3

Final Notes:

They say “live every day as if it’s your last”- well, If that “day” ever comes for me, I’ll be happy to know I did just that. Finishing Jenny365 will definitely prove to be one of the things I’ll be most happy to have done with my life.

Last of all, I want to share two of my favourite dance quotes “I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to dance better than myself.” and “Dance like nobody is watching”.
